We are very excited to welcome Chad Hambright to our gallery. Chad is the first member to join through our online submission page.
Chad’s work is creative, colorful, and captivating. His paintings fuse the immediacy of street art with a considered approach that results in a complete composition. His mark-making creates movement and establishes form, inviting the viewer to step into each piece to be exposed to a world of color and wonder.
Chad Hambright is a Saint Paul based artist with a studio in the Lowertown art district. Born and raised in Davenport, Iowa he moved to the Twin Cities to further his art career in 2006. As a B.F.A. graduate of the University of Iowa’s Inter-media Art program, Chad focused on painting and printmaking as well as the inter-media discipline. His works have been in national shows such as the “National Parks Personal Narratives” show at the Phipps Gallery in Hudson, Wisconsin and he was voted in as President of the Northern Warehouse Artist’s Cooperative in 2016. While no longer ‘in office’, Chad continues to build a better art community with his neighbors and exploring new ways to engage viewers while perfecting his techniques to create stimulating visual art.
